Out in the Nature Quiz – Above the Arctic Circle

Arctic circle

The Arctic Circle is one of the two polar circles on Earth, and the region north of this circle is known as the Arctic. The Arctic Circle is roughly 16,000 kilometers (9,900 miles) long. The area north of the Circle covers roughly 4% of Earth’s surface. Only 8 countries in the world have territories on the Arctic Circle, Finland included.

The Arctic is often seen as the last frontier due to its short summers, harsh winter conditions, and distant location. Many animals and plants have a unique way of surviving in the Arctic region. Put your winter jacket on as with this quiz we are heading to Lapland, the northernmost region of Finland! It’s time to test your knowledge on the Arctic!
